Our Mission

At Kid City, we believe that even young children can become mature followers of Christ. By teaching kids to know, love, and obey the Lord at a young age, we are equipping them to resist the snares of this world and to live blessed lives that bring glory to God. At Kid City we aim to:

  • Provide a safe place for kids to learn.

  • Reach families with the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ.

  • Teach children to know, treasure, and apply the Scriptures.

  • Teach kids to recognize when the Lord answers prayers and provides.

  • Encourage children to honor God through serving and giving.

  • Emphasize prayer: Jesus is always there, always listening, always caring!

Our Mission

Our Commitment

We are committed to keeping your child safe. Each Kid City volunteer who is over the age of 18 has received government clearances to work with children. For additional safety, each child is checked in through a secure management system that provides our volunteers with information regarding allergies and parent cell phone numbers, as well as a security code that enables volunteers to identify parents of new and visiting children.

Our Comitment

Sunday School

Every week in Sunday school, teachers present the love of Christ to children and help them develop into mature followers of Jesus. Together teachers and children consider Biblical truths, take part in group discussion, and pray in this environment for discipleship. Sunday school is intended to help children grow to know God intimately, love Him passionately, and serve Him selflessly.

Junior Church

Our Sunday Jr. Church hour begins in a large group opening assembly with engaging songs and an opportunity to meet more kids! After opening assembly, we split into grade designated classes where children learn about God—who He is, what He has done, and what He can do! We then return for closing assembly to prepare for check-out. Jr. Church is designed to help children find joy in gathering to serve and worship Jesus!

Awana Clubs

Cubbies

Cubbies is a two-year program for 3-4 year olds that celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God and His Word. Each week the children will have story time, a puppet skit, prayer time, and complete a coloring sheet.

Sparks

Sparks is our club for kids who are in kindergarten through 2nd grade. During this three-year program, kids take a chronological walk through the Bible. The Sparks program has three segments: large group, handbook time, and game time. Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Jesus Christ.

Truth & Training (T&T)

T&T is our program for children in 3rd through 6th grade. The focus of the curriculum is God’s grace. T&T is designed to create purposeful relationships between the leaders and kids and to equip them to grow into more mature followers of Jesus Christ.
